I scraped up my wheel last week on a curb because I was in a hurry when I was parking along the street.

It's not too bad, but I notice it and it's driving me nuts. I'm just curious what the max price I should pay for a replacement is.

I searched though the buy/sell section, so I have a rough idea, but I still don't know how much is too much.

Thanks for your help.

Also, what's the deal with the center cap? Does it just pop or screw out for easy transfer into the new rim?

If the center cap is like most, it just pops out (just some retaining clips on the back). Haven't actually taken mine out, though.

where are you trying to buy them from? cause Mazda will charge WAY more than what you can get elsewhere.

$50? I cheapest I found was $145 + Shipping.

To answer the other question, I've been watching eBay mostly. I know better than to go through the dealer for something like this.

If you need replacement wheels/tires to sell the car, buy some rx8 wheels and tires. Damn things are like 250 bucks for all 4...and you can even find them cheaper for that.

I found a BENT one on e-bay for $50, but that is about it. Most 17" factory rims in good condition sell for around $150 on e-bay.
