I went home this week and my brother had just swapped out the wheels on his RX7. They were 19" -- not my preference -- but I really liked his design. The wheels had an alloy outer rim with a gloss black 5-point "mag-style" center. Very little of the wheel was the alloy silver color, almost all was black. It looked awesome, but those particular wheels are not made for the 6.
Now I'm debating swapping my wheels. A couple of my old ones are scraped anyhow, might as well right? Would anybody have any suggestions for a 6s-compatible wheel that looks like that? After seeing the gloss black, I'd prefer that to the matte black or gray look. Requirements: - Absolutely no rubbing, no fender rolling - Either a 17" wheel that would lower without rubbing (on the Eibachs, likely), or an 18" wheel stock height - Would prefer a slightly wider-than-stock tire (I'm running 225's right now, and I like the look better than the stock tires...I don't really like it when the wheel appears wider than the tire, as the car seemed to when I first bought it) - $150-250 per wheel would be nice...I don't want to spend a truckload |
