Anybody care to comment on Zenki, Gorilla and McGard brand lug nuts?

New wheels should arrive today and if I'm not happy with the supplied non-locking lug nuts, I plan to purchase from one of the 3 choices above.

I can vouch for McGard conical seat ones. They are roughly 60-80 a set depending on color and type.

I have Gorilla Spline-Drives on my car and have been very pleased with them. They look pretty nice, too.

McGard "tuner" spline drives and lock nuts... Zero issues, finish still good.

I have the regular McGard locking nuts that are factory Mazda accessories (as well as the ones that were the Ford accessories on my Contour).

Work well, and they last the life of the car. Only one lock started to wear out at about 160,000 miles.

Does anyone recommend one of these for their lasting finishes over the other?

I want to get black ones, but have no experience with these.

Stupid question: when you buy, do they give you full sets (20 pieces) or do they give you one per wheel?

Depends if you are buying lug nuts or lock nuts - the lug nuts will come in sets of 20 - lock nuts are sold in sets of 4. Then there are the lug nut sets that come with lock nuts included - just to confuse things

AH, that's what I figured.

Anyone know the nest place/price to buy black lugs and locks?

I googled lug nuts when I was looking for some and got tons of links...there are a lot of places that sell them - you won't have any trouble finding some...lots of variety in size, color, weight

http://www.ezaccessory.com/

lightweight ones here:

A ton on ebay:
