I'm talking about these bad boys:
[attachmentid=10549]

I know FICHSTIX has 'em on but I am looking for more pics either on here or on someone's cardomain site. I know of at least one other poster here that has 'em on his/her Blazing Copper Metallic but I can't find the post or the pic!

I love those wheels but would like to see a lot more pics of them on a 6 before I can commit to the huge price tag.

Thanks in advance!

this is the Rota Machspeed wheel which only comes in 17x7.5 which the mazdaspeed wheels are 18x8. the rotas are 23lbs and i believe the mazdaspeed wheels are something like 24-25lbs. i've yet to see this wheel style below 20lbs, even for 17" sizes.

MachIII has them for $400 shipped

Thanks, everyone! Too bad Mach III doesn't sell them in 18" but $400 for 17" is a very good price!
Looks, great, msumlin! Your Blazing Copper was the one I was looking for. Have you given any thought to getting a 225 or a lower-profile 40 tire?

I love the wheels but the price is just breaking my heart!

Devino has a design that's almost identical. I really like the 7 spoke look, and have been researching them to put on my own car. I'm not sure of the quality or the weight of Devino's though.

SSW eternity's are only 17.5lbs and look pretty close.

Devino Voracity wheels are 45mm offset and the SSW Eternity wheels are 42mm...i thought it was the other way around

unfortunately, i have no idea about the build quality of the Devino's. I've found the 17x7 609 Voracity as low as $109 per wheel, and that was even chromed. $119 for the cheapest 18x7.5 and victoriatire carries the 18x7.5 for $135 each.

I believe that Rota is one of the very very few exceptions to the rule of "you get what you pay for" in regards to wheels. the suby community eats em up like crazy and i saw a number of them on other cars during autocrossing.

i feel ya though, i love 5 spoke designs, while 6 spoke are absolutely perfect for the car and 7 spokes are exceptional as well.
