You can smell pads?
Well, as Gremlyn said, make sure you installed them correctly. Is it ONLY when it rains?

Well, after a certain amount of time the pads will seat, or properly and fully contact the surface of the rotor. It is common for performance pads to be seated by repeated, fast stops from various speeds. The pads will seat after a few hundred to as many as 1000 miles of driving on them. Its possible that they are not seated yet and are over working a little top stop your car. As long as they don't fade, you'll be OK.
