OK, as the poll states what tyres should I get???? Post your opinions too.
These will be for the stock rims, 225/45/17 in size, and street use only.

since when? they still sell the t1-s along side the t1r last time i checked.
i would go with the hankooks depending on how agressive you drive on the streets. If you don't drive very agressive the kumho 711 and hankook HRII H405s are decently cheap. |

Yes, although I said it will be street use, I do drive rather agressively at times. I want a reasonably sticky tyre. And since when did Toyo stop making the T1S???
And as for everyone voting, post WHY you voted that too!

Since June. The T1R replaced the T1-S.

Z212's. I felt the T1-R's offered less overall grip vs the T1-S's, but a quieter smoother ride.
Biggest difference between the Z212's and the T1-R's will be longevity. You'll be lucky to get 15k outta the Z212's, but they'll grip like crazy the whole time. The T1-R's also have better wet traction and better road manners. As such the T1-R is a great street tire that can do double duty on the track/auto, while the Z212 is a great autox/track tire that can do double duty on the street. (When I say track, I mean if you can't use R comps obviously) |

With the Hankook's, I believe if you make sure to do your tire rotations and don't always drive aggressively, these tires could last at least 25k miles. Thats what I am aiming for with my Hankooks. So far so good...i think...I find myself driving more aggressively now cuz I can actually stick to the pavement..and because I just got a set of headers =].

Ahahaha.... don't drive aggressively?? Not going to happen
Well for a price comparison, the Hankooks are slightly cheaper ($100/tyre vs $140/tyre), is it worth it in that regard?Quote:
Aw, I was hoping for an opinion to accompany your post
