yea yea yea...i didn't see this big WHOLE in the fuckin ground in the mall parking lot because i was putting on my seat belt to be safe...and as i start to look up i see the ditch but had no time at all to manuever out of the way! I busted the wheel on the ditch hitting it straight on and now i got a bent front drivers side wheel! I've put my stockies back on (w/falken ziex 512) which i was going to do anyways for the winter but i obviously need to get this wheel fixed over winter time.

I've never bent a rim and need to fix it....so what are my options???
easier to just buy a new one?
where to bring it to get it fixed?
approx. cost to fix?
etc.

Thank You in advance for your Help!

sorry to hear about that man, if it makes you feel any better I got some curb rash on my right rear wheel today when I was parallel parking. Anyway, I know when I had my eclipse, I had a bent rim so I took it to a Mitsubishi dealership and they sent it out and straightened it out for me, cost like $75.00. You could try that. Hope all goes well. My stockies are going back on next weekend, winter sucks ass!

this is an aftermarket rim thats bent...not the stock wheel.

but i do have a pretty good relationship with the dealership...maybe they could do something for me...i will definately give that a try!

sorry to hear about your curb rash...i managed to get through ALL SUMMER with no dings or nothin on my new wheels! I was happy with myself, then THIS had to happen!

PS - hey tim...how long did they take to get that wheel back to you when you sent it out to be fixed?

Well when I had a tire blow out and my front driverside rim got bent...I took to a local wheel shop down here to get it fixed...costed a lot but was no where near the cost of a new rim...cost to fix the rims was $200 cost for new rim $600

Sorry man, but if I don't say it someone else will... "putting on your seatbelt to be safe" - while you're rolling?

If you're not buckled up BEFORE you start rolling, that's not very safe. You were a distracted driver, be thankful you didn't hit another vehicle or a pedestrian. I won't even fire up until I'm buckled in.

(Usually, my pre-flight checklist is:
1 - turn key to on position to get fuel pump pressured, electronics booted, etc.
2 - put on seat belt
3 - then start car )

I feel your pain, but you could have avoided trouble here. If you're gonna run 18s, you gotta watch the road like a hawk.
