After my whole fiasco, I finally have rims/tires. Contrary to earlier accounts, I did NOT go with the 245 size tires. It was an ordering mixup and I ended up getting 235 instead, but whatever. These work and look great and I can bump up to the 245s in the future.
They are Rota Torque, 17x8" +48, 73 hub, 19lbs. Tires are Toyo T1R 235/40/17. Total weight mounted is 41lbs. Thats a 5 lbs savings per corner. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to feel that difference or not, but I sure felt like the car was lighter when I went for the test run. I'm thinking about changing the black lug nuts for the gold McGards (I already have them, but they are the wrong pitch. )Pix: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Question (especially if Toyoguy is around): They came inflated to 41psi. Is that too much? The stockers were like 33-35. I did drive around over bumps and it didn't feel that different from stock as far as handling the ruts.

So you got rid of the orange sidemarkers, and bought orange/gold wheels?
I am more partial to the silver or hyperblack on lapis look. |

Looks awesome Adam. Worth the wait. We'll have to have a mini meet sometime so I can check them out. Since you had such a good excuse for missing the last one. It took you so long to post I almost Pm'd you about them.
