Ok I was wondering if anyone else has run into this issue. My wheels look really spotted and streaky everytime I wasH my car. I will wipe it off and it will go away for a moment then it comes back. It makes the wheels look aweful. What can I do to prevent this? I have tried drying them right after washing them so they do not dry in the sun and that doesn't even work (that's usally what I do all the time) Any suggesstions? This spotting makes me wheels look old!

I posted a couple pictures of the problem, this happens on all wheels. It makes it look like they are scratched. Is this something I should take to my dealer?

I think I know what you are talking about. I think it is from water that streaks your wheel while rotating. Like the water is dirty from your brake dust. Sorry if I didn't explain it very well. Try letting your car sit for a while after washing so that your rims are fully dry.

If I know what you're talking about, then I have the same problem. Although it's only small and on like one wheel, and from what I've figured, there is nothing you can do about it.

I even had the problem with my last car.

That just looks like they are dirty from the stock pads. Clean water probably streaks your wheels and causes those lines. They aren't scratched, right? Looks like the typically brake dust problems...

looks like stretch marks... maybe your rims are working out.
