I need some help;
I'm going to get a set of steel rims and dedicated winter tires for my new 6. Currently there are 215/55 -17s on the stock mag rims. I have access to an almost new set of Blizzak 225/55-16's for next to 1/3 the new price. Does anyone know if the 225's would be fine or would they cause rubbing on a full turn ? I am guessing that the extra 10 mm of width should be easily compensated by the decrease of 1" in the height going from 17s to 16s. Any advice appreciated. Sean.

Need more info to answer your question. What's the offset of the 16" wheel?

Good question since I don't have the wheels yet. Let me put it this way then, what type of wheels do I need to accomodate the 225/55-16s ? Thanks for your reply. Sean.
