Hi
I have a question about deciding tire for mazda3 rims 17x6.5. According to Discount Tire.com, the wheel can fit: Original: 205/50-17 Plus Zero: 215/50-17 215/55-17 I believe 215/50-17 tire is OK to fit, but I want to install 215/55-17 tire. Do you guys think it will be ok for my M6? Please someone help. Thanks

You should be fine with either size.

There's no good reason to go to 215/55R17 vs. 215/50R17. 215/50 is the original size and will give you accurate speedometer readings. 215/55 is very tall (at 26.2 inches or more depending on manufacturer) and does not give you any additional width, just height. So unless you need extra ground clearance, I'd go with the 215/50R17.
