i ordered rims the other day and they called back and said theres a wait on toyo proxes 4 , he offered Nitto 555 instead , are these wheels comparable to Proxes 4 ? are these even all season tires ? the guy said these are better than proxes 4 that the thread life was longer .

There are a variety of better tires available for the price.

No, they are not comparable. Nitto NT555 are summer compound and the Toyo Proxes4 is all-season. The Proxes4 would likely last longer all things being equal.

Nitto NT555

Toyo Proxes4

yeah i kind of figured that , the dealer was trying to tell me the Nitto's were better i didnt hear anything about them before this post so i declined at the time he told me it would be a wait on the Toyo's , he even told me the Nitto's were all seasons . i even looked at the site and it really doesnt specify a category for it . guess i made the right decision .

i cancelled my order of the rims hoping to find another dealer that has the rim and tire combo i want .

thanks guys
