Yes... still debating.
I really can't stand the color of my 6, but I plan on keeping it until at just before Summer 2006. I have some scuffed up OEM wheels and I need to replace. I saw some Falken wheels on a 6 in the members wheels thread and I liked these. What do you guys think on a silver 6? ![]() or maybe straight silver finish: ![]() They are listed at that site for $640 for the set. They sell a Wheel/Tire package with Falken ST115 245-40-18 tires for $1240.00. What do you guys think of those Falken tires? Any other recommendations for a silver 6 are welcome.

"I" would go with the straight silver finish

I'd go with the silver as well. As for 245s? There are some people on this board that will answer that part.

Silver in my opinion.
245's? No way, way too wide... unless the rim itself is like 9inches wide lol. Stick with 225's.

The problem with 245's isn't just the width, its the height.
245/40/18 is too high, it'll hit the front a-arm. To clear the front you'd need a 245/45/16, a 245/40/17, a 245/35/18, or a 245/30/19. Then of course there is the question with rear fitment and load ratings. I am currently awaiting a set of 245/40/17 T1-R's to be fitted on 17x8 +48 SSR comp's, and will have fitment data on whether or not its a 100% work or not. 245/45/16 with Toyo RA-1's or Dunlops fits just fine in the front, but in the rear requires a good amount of negative camber to avoid rubbing. How much negative camber is going to be determined by the relative profile width of the rubber you chose. A much safer bet is to go with an 18x8 +48 or +50 with a 235/40/18 reinforced tire. T1-R, hankook Z212, Azenis RT-615 are all excellent tire choices for that sizing. |

![]() ![]() They look good. I wish I knew what silver would look like. They also have black, with a silver lip. Saw them on a Camry yesterday.. wow. I went to a local dealer today and he quoted me $1350 for the set, mounted and balanced with lug nuts on Falken 225/40/18 tires. I also got him to throw in locks. Sound like a good deal?
