How are you suppose to make a decsion on all the choices out there. I currently have the Toyo T1-S on and love them. However i'm buying new wheels and can't wit for the T1-R to come out. So here are my intial canidates for my new 18's. I'm looking at 225/40/18's.

Toyo T1-S
Hankook RS-2 Z212
Falken RT-615's.

They are very similar in price to one another. Mind you these will also be my daily drivers. I won't be switching in winter but it doesn't snow here in sac so it's just rain.

As DD tires and based on only preliminary reports, the Hankooks by a landslide.

People are winning autocrosses on them YET they're allegedly quiet and good in the rain. It's not often that happens! The Falkens have grip in the dry and the Toyos have grip in the rain and are quiet, but the Hankook is the only tire to combine both. Again, based on preliminary reviews- they're new, but creating a buzz.

If you love the T1-S, why switch to a tire that you might not like?
