so i put the drop (eibachs) on the car after a year of deliberation. now obviously with my current wheel setup im rubbing in the back especially with the sub box back there.

took a chance last night, strapped my heat gun up and equipped myself with a good ole louisville slugger and started to bend. to my suprise the fenders on the 6 are a lot stronger than the fenders on my mistu mirage. i could basically roll the fenders with my hands with my old car.

anywho i guess im looking for suggestions on alternatives to renting a fender roller. basically i need a quick fix. should i put more muscle to my fenders with the bat and jam it in between my tires and the fender and do it that way? either way i understand that the 6 is a pristine driving machine and not a 93 civic but im desperate. the ride to work was cringe worthy.

btw no one has a fender roller to rent in colorado springs! believe me i asked.

take it from me...as a member who fucked up by using a bat. Well I finally saw how my fenders looked from behind after using the bat and I really did some damage. I bit the bullet and rented a fender roller and it couldn't have worked any better! After spending five minutes with it them you get the hang of it. Its really easy. I also used it on a friends 6 and it didn't mess up the paint at all! Then we did it on a 240sx and he pulled his back fenders out over an inch. Great product!
