A local guy is selling these 18" wheels, but he doesnt know the offset. Hes selling them for $350 for the set of 4, with very minor curb rash.

I'd love to pick em up, just to have non-stock wheels!

Tell me if you recognize em...

Found it!

The wheel is a Kosei Seneka ROM Cast 18X7 offset +45 Weight 24.5 lbs.
5X114.3 or 5X100 bolt patterns.

Our stock wheel is 21.1 lbs I believe, so it won't be all that much of a difference in weight.

The question now is...

What size tire should I use?

24.5lbs is colossally heavy, especially for such a skinny wheel.

For $350, thats less than $100 per rim... which is an amazing deal that I really have to consider, even knowing the weight is almost 25lbs.

What do you guys recommend is a good weight of an 18?

Any recommendations on a 7 spoke rim that runs pretty cheap?

I figured that the weight = strength and that the rubber would be lighter on a thinner wheel and would even out to around stock weight.

comments?
