I am thinking of buying the fender rolling tool and renting it out to people. There is ONE person doing this over on 6tech and its a nice wait for it. Would anyone here be interested in renting it from me for say 40-50 bucks plus shipping/insurance?....and once I get the tool back you'd get the insurance money back, basically the price of the tool which is about $200 if interested put your name up and if enough people sign up I'll get one.

Be careful what tool you buy. Some of the ones (like harbor freight) are extremely cheap, and don't hold their position when you are rolling.
This makes for an uneven roll and a very frustrating time for the person attempting to roll the car. The better tools cost around 500-750 USD and are significantly higher in quality, with more fine tune adjustments. I'm sure if you asked tireswap what tool he's using, you could get a few recommendations. |
