this is my first post on the mazda forums, w00t!. i just bought my 6 a month ago and i've been eyeing the forums for the past few weeks. they got up just in time for me new wheels!

i bought some 18" mille miglie rims w/ michelin pilot 225/45/18s from tirerack. (insert tirerack plug: great information and service. highly recommended!!)

as you can tell, they have their own center cap. i didn't mind this particular design, but for some reason my wheels came w/ a red lettering on the center caps instead of black. i hated it. so i took a dremel and carved out the mazda emblem from the stock wheels, sanded down the mille miglia cap and epoxied the mazda emlem onto it.

results:

i'm very happy w/ the results

They look just like the stock wheels off of the RX-8. They look nice though seeing as how I like the 8's wheels...lol. Can't wait to see them on the car. Thumbs up from me.

BTW, whats the width of the wheel you got?

yah, i was actually going to put on the rx-8 wheels because they're very clean and would look almost stock on the 6, but i read how a few people on these forums had some problem w/ rubbing so i decided against it.

these wheels are 18x7 and fit really nicely. they also have some accents that give them a little bit of character. i love 'em.

thx for the compliments guys. oh, and yah i'm from AT.

The wheels look very nice. Can't go wrong with 5 spokes . Nice that the stock caps fit too!

Rims look great. I have had these rims in mind for a long time now. The only reason why I haven't decided yet is because thet weight 28.5 lbs. How does the car feel?
