How about none of the above? Strangely, it looks like you're considering ONLY tires targeted at the "ricer" market.
You might try telling us what you want the tire for :P For an aggressive driving / track tire, I'd go with Kuhmo MX's. If you really like corners or autocrossing, go with Falken Azenis. If you're more concerned about long tread life, don't get either. Both are available online for close to $100/tire, depending on the size you need- ask Tireswap.

The scorchers suck. No traction wet or dry. I have the Nitto Neo Gen. Great dry traction but are limited on wet traction(good under normal driving but will spin like a beeyatch under hard acceleration). But they came with my wheels for a great price so no complaining here. I haven't had any experience with yokahama, a little too spendy to me.

Im not considering tires ONLY targeted at the "ricer" market, actually their in the price range Im looking for and are their popular sellers. I want tires for aggressive daily driving, and MAYBE some occasional track use with good wet traction for the rainy seasons here. I havent heard much about the scorchers anyway, although their drag radials are good tires from personal experience. The paradas are a littler higher than Id like to spend, so it leaves the nittos (nt555, neo-gens) or the Azenis which are highly reccomended. Thanks:) |

Umm - now that you included a description of your plans and needs, as well as constraints - the Kumho MX is easily your best bet.

Get the Dunlop SP 9000, overwhelming grip on dry roads and very good grip in the rain. They stick like glue.

Cut-N-Paste from my wheel pictures post...
The Nitto Neo Gen's are super great to me, thus far. Even though this is inherently an ultra-low profile tire considering I am riding 18's with a 215/40, the ride to me still feels soft and comfortable...definitely more of a sturdy (aka less cushy) feel than with the stock 16's but honestly the difference is subtle. The handling improvement certainly makes up for it because I don't feel nearly as "squirrelly" around turns or in high speed maneuvers as I used to. The Protege was set-up to take turns and be agile as the best of them, but I quickly realized I couldn't whip around like that with the 6 those first few months when she was bone stock. I feel back to normal now again Road noise is comparable to stock if not less, so far, but I am only 1000 miles in. Have had to drive through my fair share of rain or wet already, living here in Virginia, but haven't experienced any really large puddles to splash through to test grip or water dispersion in that case, otherwise they handle wet roads like the dry ones. I give the Nitto's the thumbs up so far, but time will tell, and I will keep all posted.

Those are being "phased out" according to discount tire, and being replaced with the nt555 line. Ive had experience with the dunlop and their highly underrated. Kumhos left me with a bad taste in my mouth (ecsta), and the nicest Ive ridden on were the nitto nt555s, which Im leaning toward right now, either that or some falkens.
