Hey, I'm new to the club. I have bought some 19" Motegi DPKs. They look great and fit pretty well. The rims are 19"-8,offset 42, and tires are 225/35/19. The back wheels only rub when I have 2 people in the back. I don't think it is a big issue if you plan on keeping the stock springs but I'm not. The good news I called Motegi and discussed the issue with a Mgr. and they are willing to take the wheels back and credit my account. The shitty part is I'm stuck with the 19" tires. I'm planning on lowering my car tomorrow before I take the rims off to find out how bad they rub and what rim size to replace them with. I was thinking the 19" 5Zigen corpse because the rim is 19"-7.5 and offset is 48. I have a question about a statement I read in the forum, the lower the offset the better because the bigger issue is rubbing under the wheel well not the finder so getting a lower offset and rolling the fenders is the solution?
P.S. I will try and get some pictures in the morning on my bosses digital camera so you can check the rims out. |

You do want a higher offset. You can always roll your fenders to eleminate the rubbing.
