Default Lowering with 7.5

I have 18 x 7.5 rims with 215/35R18 wheels. I gotta lower my ride, such a big fender gap. Just lloking at it seems like the rims sticks too far out. Did I buy the wrong rims? Thanks guys.

with 18 x 7.5 and 215 tires you should be fine. It may be a little close. Are your fenders rolled?

Nope, haven't dropped it yet. Theres plenty of gap now that it shouldn't be an issue. Got a pic of the gap here....

It just looks to me like the tires are stuck out too far. Once I drop it I can't go back. Just want to make sure I can drive out of the shop after its dropped and rolled.
If anyone can say yes for sure it would ease my worries going in there. Thanks again.

wow you have a shitload of gap. i say that if you roll the fenders and drop it then you shouldn't rub. Lets wait and see what others have to say.

Well I have the same size rims but running some 215/40/18 Yokohamas with a Eibach drop. Go check out my sig to see pics of my ride. No rubbing and I didn't roll the fenders.

Well erak, what is the offset on those rims? If the offset is too low then they surely will stick out.

you also look like you have more gap because of the tire size you are using.

You really should have at least a 225 width tire on a 7.5" wheel... so for the 6, a tire around 225/40/18 to maintain correct speeds on your speedometer.
