Im not shure if there is a thread on this because rite now im being a lazy ass in a hurry and i have a question to ask. I read a thread on tire sizing and so forth but i am wondering what i should do about my rims.
Right now i have 17" Motegi's at almost 25 pounds each. I like to drag race and i know that smaller wheels will help my acceleration by changing the gear ratio. I have a 6i AT. The biggest question i have is should i go 13", 14", or 15" on street tires. If any body has a comment or suggestion that would be great. Thanks |

first of all, I'd suggest when you goto the track you put the stock wheels back on the rear as the 17s you have weigh more than stock.
What kind of 60' times are you running? I don't see the need for drag radials etc on a 6i ATX, so find some cheap, light 15s to put up front for gear ratio help... but I don't see it making a huge impact on your 1/4 mile times.... unless of course you outfit your car w/ forced induction or NAWZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
