Default Question about ADR Stage-II rims

I've searched a while now for rims online. I finally found the ones i wanted, and I found them on wheelsnext.com.

ADR Stage-II 18x7.5 rims with 225/40/18...

click here if image doesn't work

I called these people up and they said that they don't have the right offset for my car. Is there anyone else that would? These are the only rims i actually like and plan to buy. If not, are there other sites with high offsets and good prices?

Another question, so I hearing that 18x7.5 with +45 and up offset will work. Wheelmax tells me +48 and up will work. Can anyone confirm this??? Even with such high offset, will fender rolling be required (w/ Sprint 1.8" drop front and rear)???

Any help on this will be appreciated.

Default Replying to Topic 'Question about ADR Stage-II rims'

Through my personal experience an 18x7.5 wheel with a 45 offset with 225/40-18 Kumho tires will rub in the back even without lowering the car. As well as periodic light rubbing in the front too (the rubbing in the front comes from the rear of the fender opening just in front of where your feet sit not at the top of the fender opening). It might be OK with a 215/40 or 215/45 18.
We really liked those 45 offset wheels so the distributor had the wheels machined between 3 and 4 MM and now that combination with 225/40-18 does not rub front or rear, Even with out rolling the rear fenders.
Do not run 235width tires with that offset cuz it will rub.
If you roll the rear fenders that will open up lower offsets or wider tires.
My personal recommendation is if you are running 18x7.5 you will need to get a 48 to 51
offset wheel.
