Default Why would my dealer...

My dealer's idiotic service dept. will not quote me a price for the 16 inch alloys for the 6. Why the hell not I ask?? Their response is that I would not want to pay the high price that Mazda is asking for them and the 17 inchers as well. They would only refer me to the after market wheel catalog or to the tire/wheel shop down the street that they are in cahoots with. I can't believe it, no price quote at all for oem alloys. All I want is to see how much they cost and they wouldn't give it to me. What gives??

csweeney, I like the look of the oem's alloy wheels and want to get rid of my awesome wheel covers. I just thought it was really strange that I had that kind of reply in that usually they would be all over trying to sell off some alloys. Maybe my dealer is on crack or just doesn't want extra$$.

Thats weird they would do that. I know the tires are expensive, but the wheels are the contrary. Just tell your dealer they lost a sale due to their stupidity and tell them about mazdastuff.com!

Not a bad idea absolut. If I do buy the 17', i will post with pics. Not that everyone hasnt seen a black 6 w/17's on her, it would be better than wheelcovers though.
