Hello Everyone!!

It's been a long time since I checked this forum. Hehe...
I got a small problem. My Mazda6 just started to make noise. It's coming from the clutch. When I release the clutch on neutral, I hear the grinding noise. I think the flywheel is touching something inside. It's kinda hard to hear while I'm driving (cuz of other road noise). But I can clearly hear it when I'm stopped. btw, my clutch is about 50~60,000km only, and it's not slipping.

Did anyone have similar problem before?

Thanks,

seems like a bad throw out bearing.which if it is your better off just replacing the whole clutch assembly as youll have to drop the tranny anyway, might as well kill 2 birds with one stone.

If the bearing is the problem, I guess I'd better to check with the dealer. Does anyone know the cost to replace the whole assembly? I got it replaced once under warranty.

I dropped by the dealer on Friday for quick check, and the mechanic says "it might be coming from the tranny side". I scheduled an appointment for tomorrow to get it checked. Argh!!!
