Well, our 6 wagon got rear ended today - pretty badly. The rear hatch is stoved in and there's no way it will open.

There was a thread a while back discussing good body shops, but that was more with custom and repaints in mind. This will be an insurance job as the woman driving the other car is totally at fault. What ICBC certified shops do you guys trust? Who should I stay the hell away from?

Thanks guys!

Make sure that you insist on a new rear hatch. My friend's SUV got rear ended and the back pushed in like yours. ICBC's quote was to pull out the dents and repaint! I got my friend's body shop to take care of it for him and they requested to ICBC to replace the rear hatch and ICBC gave in and approved the replacement of the hatch instead of just pulling out the dents. However, the excuse he used was that it was a load bearing hatch because the spare tire was attached to it. Anyways, good luck with it and hope it all works out for you.

Thanks for the tip!

The good thing is that I have private insurance and my coverage includes the use of all OEM parts, so that will make life easier (hopefully). I dropped by Rich City this morning and they seemed like good guys to deal with.

Really the only thing on the car that I could replace on insurance with aftermarket goodies is the exhaust.... but I think my wife would kill me! lol

We'll see how it works out, but at least I know now that it is 100% the other woman's fault so we wont have to pay a cent. Still sucks though.
