FYI...
My dealer told me that Mazda has just released 4.99% financing on the 6. Peoplefirst.com and E-loans have had similar rates for some time, but this is the first time I've seen a good non-internet rate. |

That is nice. Financing deals on imports are more rare than domestics. 4.99% isn't bad...

I work for Mazda and that's news to me that Mazda American Credit has issued special financing for the Mazda 6. 4.9 you can get from any back now if you have excellent credit...We mostly deal with Chase or North Fork for outside banks.

I got 4.99% on my car.. But that was only because I had pretty good credit and wouldn't buy the car from them if they didn;t give it to me.. plus I got my $500 student discount thingy...

fyi...i went in with pretty much a printout of what peoplesfirst was offering at that time (being a member of costco it was like 4.15%). And pretty much said if you can match that rate i'll go through you, otherwise, i'm just gonna finance it through peoplesfirst. They matched the rate, and actually gave me 4.14%. It's worth a shot for ya'll!

Leases do help your credit from my understanding....Also from what I hear Ford and Mazda are different in their credit banking (I could be wrong)....Mazda's other alias is Primus....and I hear that Ford's credit is pretty lient (sp?) in giving approvals....I'm sure u'll have no problems getting approved though Mazda.
Side note, on ordered vechials we run the credit right away to make sure that we are not ordering a car for nothing. And tell the customer where they stand if they don't get approve right away. |

I even had to put down a $1000 deposit. They got the 6s from another state for me. It was worth the 5 day wait:)

Through my White Plains Mazda dealer, I got 3.74 % at Chase Manhattan bank. I was also on the Ford X-Plan (invoice price) and college discount ($500); among other things.
Basically, I walked away (before taxes/title/fees) with a FULLY loaded 6s for $23000 or so, then another $2000 or so off for my trade. But back to the point, Chase Manhattan = 3.74% for 60 mo's.
