Just trying to get an idea what everyone does in the Tri-State Area......

I'm approaching the 15,000 mile mark on my Mazda6 and I know they recommend some service/maintenance to do.

My local dealership said it will cost like $485 plus tax.

Thanks!

Save yourself the money and get your oil and filter changed, rotate your tires, check your fluids and tire air pressure and you should be good to go. A $485 quote from a dealership would have me laughing in the service manager's face.

That's pretty expensive for an Oil and filter change. You should be able to rotate your tires yourself (get a friend's help if you are physically challenged). You can go to a local gas station to fill up the air on your tires. You can pour windshield wash fluid yourself.

ps. don't go back to that dealer

Yea, that's what I figured.......

I knew that it's just a crazy price altogether.
