We brought our vehicles to lockdown security (http://lockdownsecurity.ca/) this month (lastweek) for installation of 2 alarm/starter systems,
I purchased 2 new Zenesis Alarm systems from Zenesisalarms.com (i have been in contact with the Managing director of the company whom gave us a great deal on this new 2 way alarm/starter systems,
The alarms were shipped to me, I decided to give Jeff at Lockdown a ring to have them installed, he quoted us a price for 2 cars for alarm/starter install with bypass module. The price seemed resonable as I have dealth with him in the past for one of my other vehicles. I book my appointment with Lockdown, my collegues were excited to have there brand new alarm systems installed in there vehicles, I personally suggested to have them installed at Lockdown due to my great past experience,
Our apointment was on a saturday which was great, we took our vehicles down there, from previous discussion with Jeff he notified he had moved his shop, so we got to the shop, it was literally right next door to the old shop which was a breeze to find, The shop looked different, seems like they really downgraded the apperance, for ex. there was no waiting area, no showroom, no products on display (car audio, alarms etc), no vending machine (not being picky but they had one before for beverages) not sure what happened but that didnt bother me much The staff was all new, a whole new crew was there, they were all set to install the alarm/starter kit, I was glad they could do 2 vehicles at once, that made me think the installs would go by faster, but i was wrong, the installs took 5 hours for both, what a horrible experience i tell you....!
The guys that were doing the installs were very, i cant stress this enough but very unprofessional, cursing and swearing every second they could (one of my collegues was a female, she made it very clear to me how she didnt appreciated the swearing), putting tools on the seats, parts from the interior were scattered all over the shop, One vehicle was literally a week old and the other was about less than a year old, The owners witness the handling of the vehicles and personally complainted to me. They were leaning against cars while talking on there personal cell phones while they had a job to complete, dropping tools on the vehicle engine compartment several times, possible scratching the front bumper of one of the vehicle that i was watching. (personally witnessed this, as you are able to watch them while they installed,) alot of wasted time talking to each other about non sense, ( i wont go into details), one guy had his dirty shoes rubbing all over the door sills, leaving shoe muddy marks, I had to literally asked him to clean it, (this really got me upset at this point)
During the installation, I was told I was to be charged additional fee;s other than what was originally quoted, thinking to my self, after seeing all the goofing and cursing thats happening, i refused to do so. After bringing the company more business i should be receiving quality service and discounted prices. Again, WAS I WRONG.
I was absoulutly dissapointed in the quality of service received at LOCKDOWN SECURITY, previous experiences there in the past were different, I would never recommend anyone having there alarms to be installed there and to be cautious of going there for anything if need be.

I dont mean to bad talk the company, This was my recent experience there,
this post is to only aware you of my experience.

Thanks

im at the point where im looking for a new reputable shop who can do a good job,
any suggestions are most welcomed

Looks like Lockdown will be losing alot of business due to there new ways of doing things which is totally not acceptable by me.
