Got to see a preview of the new Mazda6 live and I was a little disappointed
there is a scoop for the air intake just like the mazdaspeed 6 front bumper is very similar to mazda3 the head lights are awesome the rear lights are similar to the cx-9 the tailpipes are fake, just like the mazdaspeed 6 they're horizontal like the cx-9 interior wasn't as futuristic as I would imagine they put a 'wooden' touch to it, where the cup holders were and that looked mushy you lost the vertical door handles from the interior The car doesn't seem to be totally redesigned however engine wise it has changed for the I4 and V6 they increased the power and the size I didn't get to drive it, yet... of course this is all Canadian specs and pictures were forbidden

Canadian version will not be the same as JDM
tail pipes are different no signal/foldable side mirrors obviously steering wheel is on the other side i saw the one w/ a beige exterior sedan

license plate was on trunk lid
my guess HID will be available on GT model and possibly optional on GS model The one I saw did have HID bose system just like the current mazda6, sub on the rear behind the center 2 head rest at the back for sedans I don't think the sports wagon will be in Canada (another guess) Engine size will be bigger than the current models hint: v6 engine will be the size as the cx-9

Bigger? More than 3.7 liters?
License plate on trunk lid might mean that this is a different car from one one we've been seeing in the pics/videos
