Hey Everyone

A few of our members are heading to the AutoX hosted by the Mazda Sport Car Owners Club at the Bronte GO Station this Sunday, September 9th, 2007. Start time is around 8:30am, registration is $30 and includes lunch, if you don't want to compete lunch can be bought for $5 which includes a hamburger/chicken-burger/nature-bumper and a drink. I hope to see some new faces there this weekend. Even if you don't plan on competing come and check out it out to cheer those who are competing on. The 6 in an underdog but I'm currently at 4th place in our class so let's see what will happen.

You can leave whenever you want but you may miss some runs if you are registered, but it's generally finished between 3:00 - 4:00pm.

Sooo,
it's pouring rain here right now..is this event weather dependent or should I grab a wind breaker and umbrella and head out to Bronte??

The meet was great, aside from the rain it was a great day the Tie Breaker car was the feature highlight. I didn't have a working camera but I know lots of pics were taken.

Egierda finally learned that you indeed can drift a FWD mazda6.

Paul I wish I had caught those drift(s) on video....that was some stellar car control.

And thanks again for the tips! I knocked SEVEN seconds off my time with Paul riding shotgun and screaming "GAS GAS GAS!!! DAMN IT MAN NAIL IT!!!"

I have some pics that I'll post up in the PICS section...and on that "other" Mazda 6 site....from Toronto...
