new Falken 512 installed today cost 120.00 each 215/50/17. OEM Mich lasted 38000 kilo's and not good in rain. Falkens appear just as quiet and handle just as good. Can't wait to try in rain. Car has 65000 kilo's and not one defect or repair. OEM Mich would have cost 195.00

congrats. I may need some soon as well. And I was looking at the falkens. 1010 tires and tire trends have them for just under 120. How much did it cost for all 4 mounted and balanced?

They handle "better" actually..

I'd say that's a tire to have for the "best bang for the buck"...

Sorry for late reply, cost was $600.00 installed. Will update next month on ride/wear after vacation.

My set of 512 have lasted for 40000 km and will soon need replacing. I found vast improvments in wet traction and noise reduction. Only if they lasted a little longer they would be perfect. My next set will be toyo TPT.

I had these tires on a previous car that came with the same stock Shitalins.
I found they were a large improvement over stock for wet and dry handling but did notice they were soft so would not wear well.
Oh well , but for the price that low you can't beat em.
