Default retaining clips for brakes

Hi

In this clip on Youtube @ 4 min (
) , this guy mentions that brake clips must be reinstalled. However, mine did not have any.

Does the Mazda 6s 2005 wagon have any? If yes, should I get them for the front and rear brakes?

Are they called retaining clips, anti-rattle clips or something else?

Thanks

IF you buy the oem set...IIRC it will come with the clips. If your car is not stuttering or having any other brake issues. You should be fine without.

I just got the Wagner Thermo Quiet brake pads and the did not come with the clips.

Do I have to buy the brake pads from the dealer?

Thanks

Yes, the '05 would have had them from the factory. New pads having them is hit or miss.

What I do is simply buy a hardware kit when I do mine if there is any doubt whatsoever. No point in re-using something you don't have to, or that you have to question.

Go to RockAuto.com and do a parts search for Raybestos H15841A, and H15892A.
