Default hit a pothole, now clicking noise.......

i hute a HUGE ass pothole last night at about 40 mph. The second after the car cleared the pothole, i kept hearing this loud clicking noise coming from the right side of the car. I pulled over and attempted to find out waht the problem was, but to no use. even worse, I was on my way to highschool Winter Formal and left my date sitting in the car while I was looking underneath my car to see if anything was dragging. The clicking stopped while driving straight, but now, when ever I turn right, I hear a click for every rotation of hte wheel. I know this because when i drive slower, it clicks less frequently. what could this be? im gonna make an apointment with the dealership 2morow but until then id like ot hear everyones thoughts.

thx
conrad

Could be damaged suspension, or a bent brake dust shield.

Were you turning at the time you hit the pothole?

File a claim with the city. They may be liable for damage caused by a pothole. Varies with local laws though.

Agreed, I would try to get the city to pay.

Hmm, as this seems that it might be a little more suspension related, thats where it'll go!

As for the damage, I also agree you should investigate local laws and see if they can pay for the damage.
