I'm about ready to complain AGAIN. Like 2 months ago, I was told they were finally in stock and shipping. About a month ago, I got a call from SU Mike saying mine was ready to ship. Then he said, no, sorry, they had some 3.5" units, but I ordered a 3.25, specifically at their recommendation -- they said the 3.5 doesn't have enough air flow as it is too tight. So, he said my 3.25 should be in the next week or so. That was a month ago or more.

I just talked with Mike again. I know its not SUs fault, it is ETS. But, it is still annoying to get basically the same story again and again and again. This time, I was told that ETS told them they screwed up a batch of end-tanks, and have to remake them. So, I got another "supposed to ship next week" answer. Dammit, I wish I just got the AutoExe even if it costs a ton. But with the carrot of "next week" dangling in front of me, its kind hard to tell ETS to just go F themselves and spring for the AE...

I do hope we have some ETS tracking numbers for you guys today. Mark talked to ETS yesterday and they said they just finished up a bunch of 3.25 TMIC's. But still no tracking numbers, they should show up in my email this evening.

One of the mounting legs was bent way out of shape. I think it didn't happen on the shipment to me, I think before. I had it powdercoated, and the paint was perfect. I would expect the paint to be chipped or scratched if it was bend after painting. So, I'm suspecting that it was bent at or before SU got it, but if so, they didn't inspect it well.

But, I bent the leg back and it seemed to fit okay. I probably need to check for leaks, but the core and tanks look okay. One of the 4 holes on the shroud doesn't like up with its hole on its mounting leg. So, I wouldn't exactly give this thing a perfect on fit and finish. But, I do think I got a good boost in performance. So, I guess I'm overall happy.

I'm thinking about putting some rubber or something to seal the shroud to the IC, though it might not be worth the trouble, I don't know. The shroud seals against the seal on the duct in order to force the air through the intercooler. But, there is air gaps around the shroud, so, not all of the air is forced through the intercooler. But I'm not sure percentage wise how much of the air goes through that gap.
