Man and here I am still suck on the idea of just getting a pre-cut interior trim to do what DPFISUMS6...

Never thought to PD!
Only problem I see if that you really have to keep an eye on the areas and do touch ups. I'm a lazy dude and want to just do something once and be done with it.
But again its "personal preference."

Just goes to show you that you can PD anything if you really want to.
Next thing you know people will be PD'ing their face to cover acne if they make customer colours lol!

hmmm interesting. Certainly different but not my cup of tea. Kudos to you for thinking outside the box. Does that stuff get affected by fingerprints and sweat over time?

Yes. I plasti-dipped my JBR heavy-shift knob because I hoped it would provide some insulation from the heat/cold when the weather changed. After doing so, it picked up fingerprints, dust, lint, dry skin, you name it. If you had it on your hands, or on any clothing that brushed against the knob, it would stick. I would NEVER plasti-dip any surface that I'm going to touch on a regular basis ever again.
