I have been following this thread on the "other forum" and it has peaked my interest.
This may be the route I go if the used 3.5" ETS doesn't work out for me. Griffin Retrofit TMIC Any thoughts?

I bought mspanger6's OEM intercooler just for this purpose. I called Benji @ Griffin and he quoted me $450.00 to retrofit the OEM intercooler with one of their's. I followed the thread on the other forum and the dude that had this done was charged only $400.00 shipped. I didn't bother asking why the $50.00 bump in price.
I'm going to wait until I can get some money saved up to pursue this further. Here's a pic of Griffin's MS6 OEM retrofit intercooler:

This is an interesting solution and one I am definitely interested in, but I will need to know by watching the thread further, if the stock ECU will be able to adapt to the faster spooling turbo (as quoted by one of the guys on the other forum) so it won't boost cut anymore.
My car often sits for two weeks at a time if I'm not going anywhere special, they should be able to turn around in that amount of time...I hope.

QUOTE (mazspd6 @ Sep 10 2009, 09:52 PM)
Quote:
According to Griffin, the core is what takes time to put together. They wanted me to pay 1/2 in advance since I was waiting for msanger6 to send his OEM intercooler to me so they could starting building it, then pay the balance off when they received the OEM intercooler for retrofit. They quoted a 1 week turn around by doing it the way I described once they received my intercooler.
