I starting to put some ideas together for the 2nd Annual Oklahoma Route 66 Cruise. Last year we headed out and drove towards Tulsa. We stopped at the Round Barn, and then drove to historic Pop's. We ended the day by driving to a car show in Stillwater.

Well, the time has come to do it again. I am putting together ideas on where to go and what to do. I will also need to know how many will be attending.

There will be shirts for everyone that attends (or for anyone who wants one).
Here is the T-Shirt order info:
T-SHIRT INFO

2nd Annual Oklahoma Route 66 Cruise

This cruise is open to all Mazda Owners

Date :

Sunday - September 13th

Itinerary

We will meet in downtown OKC, for a Show and Shine @ 9:00.
Initial Meeting Location will be the Bass Pro Shops - Downtown OKC

We can spend up to 2 hours meeting everyone and looking at all the beautiful cars.
The we will drive Historic Route 66. Then we will drive to Stroud, OK and visit the StableRidge Vinyard...

StableRidge Vineyards Winery - Route 66 Stroud Oklahoma

While there, we will have a wine tasting with cheese and crackers, a tour of the vinyard as well as pizza. Prices will follow in the next couple of posts during the next couple of days.

I am also considering inviting members from M6C, Seeing that the Crew was not around then, the cruise was all M6C people. And I am considering inviting fellow Mazda owners in Tulsa and OKC. We all met earlier this year and there were some pretty awesome 3's there as well as some damn good looking 6's

After the wine tasting, we can each go our separate ways. Folks from KS can head north, Tulsa folks head east, Texas folks head south and the OKC folks will head west.

From Vines to Wine
StableRidge Winery uses the very best Oklahoma grapes to make our award winning wines. Help us by participating in this year’s upcoming harvest. All through the month of August our growers will be having harvest parties. By noon the grapes will be delivered to the winery and the grape-to-wine process will begin. There will be three (3) harvest parties at the Davis/Ham Vineyards 13 miles north of Chandler, in Agra. Another harvest party will be held just 2 miles north of StableRidge in Stroud. Join us in one of these unique experiences.. We hope that you can help. It is still too early to know when each vineyard will harvest. We will keep you posted.

Your Group - Our Pizza

What makes a great pizza? It starts with a great oven! Ours is an authentic, rustic, wood-fired oven. Your group of 6 or more can enjoy our Italian Style Neapolitan Pizza. (Prices to ome)

We Now Offer Appetizer Trays
Here at StableRidge Winery you can have it all in one visit. You can enjoy international award winning wines; you can tour where the grapes are grown and where they are made into wine. We are now offering cheese and cracker appetizer trays to enjoy during your visit to StableRidge.
(Prices to come)

Tasting Room

Our tasting room and gift shop is located in the town's original Catholic Church. The church building was started in 1898 using materials milled from local farms and ranches. It was finished in 1902 and dedicated to the boys who died in the Civil War.

The original bead board ceiling and walls were covered in the 1950's, and re-discovered during our renovation. Future renovations will include placing stained glass in the arches above the windows that have been enclosed with tin since the building was constructed.
