Has anyone been down the the Talimena Drive? Talihina, Oklahoma to Mena, Arkansas. Looks nice and curvey!! Reminds me of the roads the guys on Top Gear drive over in Europe to test drive cars.

"The Talimena Scenic Drive is a Scenic Byway offering 54 miles of spectacular views and incredible scenery." (...and lots of nicely paved hills and curves)

I'm looking to make the drive from Tulsa, down the Talimena Hwy Saturday, June 6th. I might stay the night in Mena and backtrack the next day.

Just about equal distances from areas in the ArkLaHomaTex.

I have made this drive , it is a beautiful drive but you must pay attn, to many drop offs also will heat up your brakes, alot of scienic views and pull offs to take pics but the drive to mena is to long better to stop at hwy 59 and head to poteau and have dinner, or go to cedar lake a hidden jewel in the winding star reserve. ps this is not a place to drive like we did heading to pops in OKC LOL count me in
