my college roommate...she would get up in the morning and turn on the radio while i was still sleeping. she also took like 5 showers a day. we had one phone, and it would ring at all hours, so at night i would turn off the ringer, she got pissy at me for doing that, so i started unplugging the phone at night in such a way that she couldnt' tell it was unplugged.

My freshman roommate used my computer as a urinal one night when he was drunk. Another night I walked in on him and his girlfriend (no sock on the door WTF?) and then another night I walked in them both shrooming and him sitting there laughing at her. dont think he graduated on time and she left him a little after freshman year.

I tried to be roommates with my best friend while I went to college to save some cash. That was a big mistake. She would crank up the radio everyday at 8am to listen to some morning show that I can't stand. Take SUPER loooong showers and use up all the damn hot water. Well to make a long story short, don't move in with your best friend.:rant

I tried the best friend thing, yeah not a good idea. Ive had a lot of roomates in the past but most of them have been really cool. One of my college roomates was married and his wife lived in another town about 80 miles away. She would call to check up on him at all hours. Eventually i told him to tell her to stop, and if she continued i would just hang up on her ( she eventually got him a pager).

the next year i had three roomates who hated me. if i left a dish in the sink to wash that night after dinner they would fill the sink up with food and say that since my plate "blocked" disposal that i was now responsible for cleaning all the food stuck there. Luckily i was the R and when he moved out I charged him a shitload of money. Don´t mess with the RA.

i almost made the moving in the the best friend mistake... well i guess i kinda did but she was my cousin too so that just created a whole mess of drama... she started to get parental on me and lecturing me if i wasn't home by 11pm (which was impossible since i worked swing shift about 30 mins away and i didn't get off work til 10pm anyway.. am i not supposed to have a life?)... that annoyed me cause even my parents didn't do that to me.. and then she would stink up the place smoking her weed inside the house... so it was okay to smoke weed in the house but not a cigarette... hmmm...

but the other girl she was a drama queen.. she'd get all jealous when i started dating a bunch of guys all at once and i'd alwys get phone calls when we went out... so she gave me this whole guilt trip about leaving her when i hooked up with a guy.. which didn't even happen... the guys i dated always brought a long a friend for her.. hahaha... so when she ended up hooking up with a co-worker she did everything in her power to keep him... along with getting pregnant... course he disappeared during the pregnancy... but came around after she delivered... THANK GAWD i didn't move in with her... cause i was going to to help her out with the baby cause he wasn't around.. but then he gave her this ultimatum... leave your friends or i'll walk... so now she left all her friends for a guy... what a hypocrite... :sarc

I had a roommate in college that came home drunk (probably high) and hungry. All we had was raman so he put the brick of noodles in a bowl, threw the *metallic* packet of flavoring in the corner of the microwave, set the microwave for, get this, 60 minutes, hit start and then promptly passed out.

I dunno if the microwave stopped on it's own or if he noticed something was wrong but it ran long enough to scorch the corner so bad we never did get it cleaned all the way.
