Help, something just happened, and now when i click on a topic i only see the new posts, and get the list of all post below highliting which ones i am seeing. I tried to go through the settings, but couldn't figure it out. What am i missing?

Go to the buttons like you were going to post a new topic like you just did here (upper right corner). You should see an "Options" go to.....link/pull > Display Modes> Standard ....that should set you straight.
