Figure I would show you guys too on my detailing techniques. This is from one of the websites i help run(www.zx2ms.com). For the mazda I use different products. Typically around 40 we have around the house for the cars. Btw the zx2 is my summer car only/weekend car so its always in storage and never see's bad weather. Mazda is my daily driver. ENJOY
ZX2 4-16-09 As most of you know I do a insane car wash. I am a huge guy in detailing and my work comes out what most people say "phenomenal". People have been bidding lately asking how much I would charge for there cars. With this It took around 15 products(pic below). Here are the results and some of the pic's I took of the steps. ![]() ![]() (Wax taken off) ![]() Results of washing, 3 step, plastic x, etc(will get more pic's later) ![]() ![]() ![]() (Car bottom was still wet. That's why you will see water and wet spots in some places) ![]() Also when doing this. The bags are for so the rotors never to get that rusty look. The rotors are in fact painted as well in the middle to prevent that rust look. On top of it I just take that extra precaution. The rims itself get taken off one at a time to get a thoroughly clean as well. It gets 4 products just for the rim's itself. If you have any questions about detailing feel free to e-mail me. We have around 40 products easily around the house since each car has a different application I use. Also got cam gears from Johnp on this deal. Figure I would post the pic's up as well(Yes forgot to put the black piece on my 98 valve cover. ![]() ![]() MAZDA6 2004 Hatchback ![]() ![]()

How could I possibly know your detailing techniques if you have 14 posts? And do you use porter cable random orbital buffer? I need to see close ups of the paint to be able to comment on your work. If you are that good, I sense a detail-off! Spdfreak has seen my car, he can vouch for me.

I use a makita buffer(If I need to use) instead of a porter cable. I wish I had a better camera to show off my work but as you can see the pic's aren't that great as it is. I hit the angles so you could see how it shines and reflects. If your looking at paint work it's as stock as a zx2 with that paint code gets. The products on the first page are what I use. I do everything by hand since I can work at angles much more better with it and take my time. Btw just based on I only have a few posts here. I am well known in the zx2 world with winning car of the month of march on teamzx2.com |
