Ever since I bought my 2005 redfire Mazda 6 with a tan interior (the non-leather interior by the way) it has had these two annoying stains on the passenger side seat and on the back seats. I have literaly tried every single product that claims to take off stains and none have worked. I'm talking about those products you can buy at autozone like tough tuff and resolve but nothing has worked. I even took it to my friend who has his own little detailing business an he couldn't get the stains off either! So I am wondering if you guys have had this same situation that I am in and how did you solve it? I know there has to be some good product out there to take off stains out of your upholestry but I just have not found it!

If anyone has any proucts or suggestions that would be great!

Because lately I have literaly considered re-doing the interior of my car to black upholestry or something because I hate those stains!

I recently took out my tan cloth upholstery and changed it to leather. If you want, I can send you my old upholstery so you can test different cleaning products (some products leave a stain, etc).

I bought a carpet cleaner at Pep Boys about 2 months ago. It is by Blue Coral and it worked awesome! I used it on my carpet and floor mats. My mats are black but the lettering is white, well it is suppose to be but is usually brown/black. I used this stuff and now even though they aren't white they are very very close. Nothing has even come close to even lightening the stains. Give it a go I don't think it was that expensive, and if it doesn't work it will still make the rest of the car smell fresh and give it a more 'peppy' look.

Also look at http://autogeek.net/ they have almost every kind of cleaner including the proper brushes to work that stain out.

OMG.....I have had the exact same problems with the tan interior of my 2004 Mazda3.....I bought it when it was a year old and there were no very noticeable stains on it, however, a few months later, when I just spilled water on the back seat and on the passenger seat, there have been these disgusting looking stains that won't come out!! I have tried everything as well, and also had it detailed....in the back they are dark brown and just look disgusting!! I recently used some "as seen on tv" stain remover and it looks 10 times worse now!! What is up with this? When I try and clean the stain, it looks worse afterwards! It sounds like some kind of defect maybe in the tan interior in the Mazdas?? This can't just be a coincidence....I am not sure what to do next.....if anyone knows, please help me out and send an email to me at mveitenhans@hotmail.com.....Thanks!

Can I ask how much that cost you?

$630 for JUST the leather covers. Installation is about $400 for a professional install, or you can go through the torment of doing it yourself.

I am also a big fan of the BLUE CORAL. It has to be one of the best cleaners I've ever used.

Get some Formula 50 R.T.U. (made by Zep) and a small brush with some bristles. Friend works at a car wash and gave it to me. It works miracles. Had a blue ink stain from a pen on my seat that just wouldn't come out. Sprayed that stuff on, scrubbed, and stain was nowhere to be seen.

An old GF uses Zep products on her carpent because she's a fan of spilling orange soda. I've never seen a stain...

my wife dropped frosty on my seat, didn't even try to clean it and got the leather replacements from leatherseats.com.
