So I bought a used Injen intake off another member and as expected it was a little dirty. I couldn't install it since I had to wait for a replacement vibra-mount from Injen, so I decided that I was going to try to clean it up a bit. Now, I've used polishes before and often a lot of elbow grease is required to make a noticeable difference. Additionally it can take quite a bit of time. Well I decided to try Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish and this stuff is phenomenal. I'm not even done yet, but I thought I'd share a picture that shows how well this stuff works. Sorry for the quality, I can't take pictures for shit.
![]() As you can see, the side of the intake left of the MAF sensor hole has been polished. This is only after 5 minutes of polishing and very little pressure was required. This might be old news to some of you, but it's new to me so I'm excited. As far as I'm concerned this stuff works as advertised and unless someone knows of a better product, it will continue to be my polish of choice.

Well thats cool man, it looks good. Ive heard of people using kerosene to clean aluminum but I dont know that it would get any cleaner than your Mother's product.

I hope we're of slightly better intelligence that using kerosene on a hot engine. I was refering to parts NOT installed, for clarification.
