I've been told to stay away from anything that's As Seen on TV, but does this even work? I have a huge scuff mark on my bumper and it's making me mad.

I'll take a picture when I get my camera back and maybe someone can give me ideas on how to remove it.

when i got a scratch in the hood of my car (from a tree branch falling on it) i looked into that Simonize stuff. basically everything i found on the internet said to stay away from it at all costs. some reviewers said it did nothing at all while others said it slightly worked but for the price, invest in something that will have much better chances of working. there are loads of commercial products out there that will do exactly what you want and will most likely give you better peace of mind.

Try Meguiar's Scratch-X. It has a diminishing abrasive and should make a nice improvement in the scuff mark. Try it with a microfiber towel first, and if that doesn't work, use a soft terry cloth towel for the first pass and then finish up with a microfiber. I've had decent luck with the stuff, so it's definitely worth a try.

+ 1 that stuff is awesome. Even if it doesn't take out your scuff (should take out most) it is still good to have on hand to remove tar, hardened on bugs, and some how I got some splatter paint on my car and it took care of it. I have had my tube for over a year and have had 101 uses for it.

Thanks, luckily I picked up some of that Scratch-X while it went on clearance. Never had a reason to use it until now so we'll see how it goes. Thanks.

I love and trust Billy Mays...I actually bought the Simonize product. I got no results. It was used on 3 different spots and I saw no change. I still have faith in all other Billy Mays products.

I'll keep my eye out for some Scratch-X though.
