I have tried many products and for some reason IMHO, I feel that the cleaning (interior) solutions come out the same...they clean...that's all.
I have tried this product for 6 months and it works great...for those who like a matte interior finish. I put it to the test by using the product and placing my car under direct sunlight for 6 months and so far no cracks or dryness. As silly as it may sound...the product I have been using that has me VERY satisfied is [attachment=37236:Baby_Wipes.jpg] It does its job. One wipe will clean the entire dash and a little more. Its cheaper and it will not harm you interior. Just trying to be innovative.

I can see where you are heading with that question...longetivity of the dashboard...if it worries you alot then, I would suggest that you put a Sun Reflector to avoid UV rays hitting your dash. I started using a Sun Reflector because I hate going inside my car and its blazing hot inside. The Sun Reflector actually works very well. I have known people (i.e. my cousin in LA) that has never used any type of UV protectant in his Toyota truck and does not use any type of Sun reflector and his dash looks good after 5 years but then again, I have known people that did the same thing and have dried up but not cracked. He justs wipes it with a damp cloth. |

Like I said, it works very well for cleaning the interior, especially for those members who have black interiors like me. I started using a Sun Reflector because I hate going inside my car and its blazing hot inside, I think those things work very well to reduce head. I have known people (i.e. my cousin in LA) that has never used any type of UV protectant in his Toyota truck and does not use any type of Sun reflector and his dash looks good after 5 years but then again, I have known people that did the same thing and have dried up but not cracked. Totally agree! i use babywipes too! they don't have a scent to it, they are very mild, not like other wipes w/ strong detergents & chemicals.... not only i use it to clean the interior, but also works good on bird sh*t! (let it moist a bit and wipe) and also, i use it to wipe my golf equipments after every game! and the ladies likes to use it to clean their expensive bags.... |

Well, since we are in that topic of discussion, you can also use any type of shampoo with a greenie wiennie (spelling???) and wash the soap scum from your show doors and walls. It works great...you do not need to use non of those chemicals they sell. Just buy the cheapest shampoo out there and use it to clean your shower...trust me it works. Scrub it and let it sit for a couple of seconds and then wash away. If you have heavy build up...do it again....just like you would do if you were to buy those other chemicals. |

I am a faithful user of baby wipes as well. There was a question of how to clean the headliner in another post and this is my answer to it as well. I use it on everything fabric. It pulled out a mixture of diesel, oill, and hydraulic fluid off of my microfiber couch, too. They are quite amazing!
