Does anybody use any time of fabric protector on thier cloth seats in their 6? If so what's the best to use out there? I'm not thinking Scotch Guard is the best idea, LOL!

Take a look at the new DuPont Automotive Protectant Package. It is dealer installed and is guaranteed for 3 years on used cars and 5 years on new.

The whole package includes a leather/vinyl protector, a paint protector and carpet protector. It's fairly new and not every dealer has it. I have it on my MS6 and it is great.

I have the ultimate fabric protector tester, a 7 month old. He loves to throw his bottle all over the place and formula leaks out like crazy. My wife and I tried scotch guard on her car, 2004 honda civic with cloth seats, and it didn’t really help at all. It made the formula a little easier to blot off the seats as long as you cleaned it up almost immediately. I just bought a new Mazda 6 a week ago and am scheduled to have the DuPont Automotive Protectant Package added to my car on the 17th. I haven’t let my son ride in my car yet, because the white formula is not a good mix for black cloth seats. After the protectant is put in my car I’ll stick him in there for the test and re post to let you know how well it worked.
