Man... i was sooo bummed... I am running out of my personal favorite wax and i cannot find it anywhere... http://www.eshine.ca/rare_meguiars_16_prof...aste_wax-77.php

And that is not marketing, if anyone can find some for a good price and in quantity BUY IT, I paid 19 bucks a can for mine and it is WORTH EVERY PENNY HANDS DOWN.... it goes on easy, it comes off easy, it stays for 3 months and 5 washes without a detailer to maintain it... truly amazing stuff!

Back to my story, so on my wifes car I tried a 10 dollar can of gold class... man did it suck ass! It went on hard and did not spread very well, and i had to go back to the can every 1-2 sqare feet minimum, it came off crappy and dusty... now in fairness it did leave a nice finish but it also felt pretty thik on the paint, like too think IMO..

Anyone else have thought or experiances to share?

I'd rather replace my brakes than my engine, so other than the occasional heel/toe downshift I don't put the stress on the engine of compression braking. It's not a diesel.
"I know right? Engine braking...thats crazy. Holy crap though...can you imagine engine acceleration? Jeezus. I'm glad I don't do that!"

Not a paste wax person myself. Too much work. Anyways, you can try our paste wax. It's called Yellow Wax Paste-W-41. Our plant is just across the town from you. 8010 Dixie Hwy. Florence KY. Here is our link to our paste wax, it's at the bottom of the page. My personal fav. is the Cherry Finishing Wax-C-36. No residue, no cleaner, no abrasives. Glides on, wipe off. Lasts for 2-3 wks. Anything longer, try Satin Creme P-35(wax & sealer). Lasts 6 months but in my opinion, hard to work with, although it is our best seller.

You might want to try this: http://www.malms.com/extreme_paste_wax.html. Pricey! I used to use their liquid wax, and it's great, but I've not tried the paste variant.

What are you looking for out of a wax? Have you tried Zaino?
