Go to AutoZone and get bug and tar remover. It's an aeresol spray. Just spray it on and let it sit and rinse/wipe off. You might wanna pick up a "bug scrubber pad" to help remove the bug goo. Basically it's a sponge with a netting wrapped around it.

Claybar can be used after you get the bulk of the bug stuff off the paint. Don't use claybar to remove the dried on bugs, it will destroy the bar. If you still have some residue on the apint then claybar is fine. Sometimes bugs are hard easy to remove but leave stains behind. Bug remover and claybar should get it looking like new.

I use Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover... it's great for the damn tree sap, which is probably worse for your car than bugs (works for dried bird crap too). I use a microfiber cloth. Just spray it on, let it soak in for a few minutes, and gently rub in a circular motion (wax on, wax off) until it buffs out. It works great!

put really hot water on the bug, this will do the less damage to your paint. the bug will dissolve under the heat
