Donny,
I'm just curious if you guys would be able to get your hands on a Seibon TM style carbon hood for me. The reason I ask is because obviously I trust RPM much more than all these other places selling it online. Please let me know, either here or in a PM. I wouldn't need it ASAP, but Im looking to purchase one in the next month or two and figured since you retail their other hoods I'd check with you. Thanks! |

I'm looking to replace a hail-damaged hood.
Are these hoods direct replacement (no drilling / cutting)? And will they accept the stock hood liner (minus some cutouts of course) and windshield nozzles / hoses? Also, do most people just ditch the hood liner all together? More importantly, will the stock latch attach with no additional modification? |

I think I'd like to reattach the liner if I could. If I get the TM version I'm sure I'd have to modify it a bit to allow the vents room to vent.
Another question. How do the vents hold up to rain? Will my engine be safe from water? (referring to TM or other vented hood) |

The seibon hoods come with rain guards to cover up the vents from the inside (if you chose to do so). To make a different point...my VIS Invader hood is outside all the time and the vent hasnt created a problem with rain. However, that may be because of the placement of the vent. The TM is fairly new, so Im guessing you wont find anyone with feedback about it just yet. If you can wait Ill tell you in about 2 weeks
